As soon as i walked up to the door and seen a waiter walk by with plates full of food i knew what needed to be done; order the ube pancakes, my god they looked great- so colorful and enticing, perfectly plated to appeal to the consumer, seemed like a popular dish as nearly every-other table were ordering them. Very cute spot off a main road junction- plenty of seating indoors and outdoors also- which is needed as it is a very popular, busy spot, and nearly all tables were full at the weekend we went for brunch. You line up and seat yourself when you have ordered so no table-hogging. There is a little bakery section at the front before you order while you are in line were all the buns and spiral croissants sit on display looking like a sugar tooths dream- will be back to try their selection of goodies, as we were here for brunch didn't want to overload on snacks. Ordered the 100 chile benne and the short rib loco moco and of course the ube pancakes to share. Big portion sizes so come hungry or take a to-go box for leftovers. Very delicious food, the ube pancakes were the main draw of attention- tasted great. Servers were very helpful when asked for anything- also a nice touch was the free chips and salsa bar which we didn't end up trying as we already had so much food, but it looked good! Even though it was busy, the service was still quick and efficient- the queue moved pretty quickly and we were able to find a table easily after ordering. Only thing to mention is the parking- make sure you park in the correct car park as apparently they tow cars parked across from the building where other restaurants are. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu and the spiral croissants and bakery bits and pieces, and of course will be back for the ube pancakes- YUM!

The Guava pancakes were sweet but not overlwhelmingly so. The loco moco gravy made it tasty. I also got the iced Cookie Butter latte (not shown) which was sweet. If you like sweet iced coffee, would recommend. The service was fast. Went for a Saturday brunch and as soon as we ordered we waited for about 10 minutes for all of our food to arrive. Free chips and salsa bar while you wait! Their self serve hibiscus tea is also very refreshing. It is open seating/self-seating. There was a decent amount of tables open and servers clear the dirty tables fast. Its a very cozy place.

Met here for Sunday brunch with my sister and her puppy. So glad they have an outdoor patio! The place was very crowded, but somehow we were able to find parking and a table outside. You order your food at the counter and they give you a number and bring you the food to your table. There was a long line to order food, but it moved quickly and honestly, our food came pretty fast. There were chips and salsa complementary for while we waited. I enjoy their cookies and took one to go. My pesto Florentine omelette was well seasoned and a generous portion, I took half of it home to eat later they had a gluten-free toast option for my sister, and they asked if anything needed to be left off the order so they will accommodate you want to leave out cheese or something. Lots of vegetarian options. Fun boisterous atmosphere! Will be back if in the area.

The Service The waitstaff at the register were super nice and allowed me to purchase the special pastry at the same price of the lilikoi bar, since it looked like I bought the last one and instead of waiting for another batch, I got the passion fruit pastry instead which looks like a giant half circle cinnamon role filled with passion fruit cream on the inside and topped slightly on the outside with a slice of strawberry. The Taste Both pastries were sweet and soft and to my liking. Ambiance This place is much smaller than the other East Bay location, but is also really cute and nice spot to eat. If is very popular with other locals and there were lots of people eating here in the afternoon. I'd come here again for other quick treats and bites to eat. The sit-down is okay, but prefer the other location (larger space and chip bar). But the menu is mostly the same as the other location.
